DORMITORY
OSHS has adequate housing for our men and women who attend our six-week course. The school
offers a furnished, modern bunkhouse for students while attending OSHS. |
 |
The bunkhouse includes a kitchen with
microwave, refrigerator/freezer, plus a rec-room with a TV. The building is equipped with
central heat, air, and coin-operated laundry facilities. Men and womens living
quarters are separate for the six-week session. |
| Students are required to provide their own food
and furnish personal bathroom necessities and bedding for a twin-sized bed. The dorm is
very convenient for the student for the purpose that they are able to study in the
classroom or work in the forge after school hours. |
|
Each week there are assignments and 10 hours of forge work that are mandatory, and the
student is able to choose when they would like to work on them since all needed resources
are available after school hours and on Saturdays and Sundays.
